Lithuania's first Hologram stamp
Lithuania issued its
first hologram stamp on 9th October 1998 to commemorate the 80th anniversary of Lithuania's first stamp.
On February 16, 1918,
Lithuania declared its independence from Russia. The Lithuanian postal
administration was founded on Nov. 16 of that year and the first stamp was issued on 27th December 1918.
Lithuania's first hologram stamp features "The Post Horn" emblem, emblem of Lithuania's postal administration. H. Ratkevicius, is the designer of the stamp and his name appeares at the bottom of the stamp. The border area is covered with peace dove carrying a letter and the 80th anniversary inscription.
Nice addition to my Odd and Unusual stamps collection.

Hologram Miniature Sheet - Brazil
"The Bienal de Sao Paulo" is the Brazilian contemporary art foundation for the promotion of Art. It was founded in the year 1951 by Italian-Brazilian industrialist Ciccillo Matarazzo and the first exhibition happened in the year 1957. It is the second oldest art biennial in the world next to the Venice biennial, which started way back in 1895. In 1989, the foundation celebrated its 20th exhibition, and to commemorate this Brazil post issued a Hologram Miniature sheet. The first stamp portrays "Lemons" by Danilo Di Prete, 2nd is "The Indian Suacuapara" by Brecheret and the third one is Francisco Matarazzo.
The bottom half of the miniature sheet is a hologram one depicting the number "20" in between The Sao Paulo Biennial logo.

Hologram Stamp : Brazil
Fernando De Noronha is a collection of islands in the Atlantic Ocean off the Brazilian coast. The below miniature sheet depicts the tallest peak on the islands "Morro do Pico", while the main theme shows the dolphins. The vicinity of the islands are rich with marine life.
The sheet was issued on the occasion of the 500th anniversary of the discovery of the "Fernando De Noronha" archipelago. The name comes from the Portuguese merchant who funded the expedition. The actual explorer who stayed there on the journey was none other than "Amerigo Vespucci", an Italian explorer who was part of the expedition. Yes, he is the same guy from whose first name the word "America" is derived.

Ice Crystal : Holographic stamp, Finland
Finland Post(Posti) has issued "Ice Crystal" stamp on 22nd January, 2016. This winter stamp is printed on the holographic foil, to make it reflect different colours of the spectrum at different angles to look like a real ice crystal. The scanning can't do the justice to the real beauty of this stamp. Mrs.Katri Viinanen has kindly used this glow stamp on my cover. Thanks Katri, Nice addition to my Odd and Unique stamp collection.

Multilevel embossed Dinosaurs - Canada
Dinosaurs are prehistoric animals. Canada, which has rich geography and the fourth largest dry-land mass, issued a set of stamps of Dinosaurs through Canada Post . The background picture shows the Dinosaur provincial Park. The multilevel embossing and holographic effects makes these dinosaurs seem like they are coming out of the Park.
The dinosaurs depicted in "Dinos of Canada" are Tylosaurus Pembinensis, Chasmosaurus Belli, Tyrannosaurus Rex, Ornithomimus edmontonicus and Euoplocephalus Tutus.
I got this MS from Mr. Mark of Canada in an private exchange. Thanks Mark.

World's first Queen Elizabeth black and white hologram stamp
Island of Jersey is the largest of the Channel Islands and is predominantly loyal to the British monarchy. Even though Jersey has its own currency British pounds are also very much in circulation. Jersey has its own financial, legal and judicial systems but United Kingdom is responsible for the defense of Jersey.
On 1st June, 2012 Jersey post issued the very first official Achromatic Holographic portrait of Her Majesty, The Queen as part of Diamond jubilee celebrations. Achromatic means free of colour, which means black and white only.
In this portrait she is wearing a black colour dress with white pearl necklace. The diadem she is wearing in this portrait has 1333 diamonds and 169 pearls. This diadem is the one she is wearing in almost all the British stamps and she worn this for her coronation procession. The same portrait is appearing on the 100 pound Jersey notes.
